every thursday in the park here they do 'Munch and Music'. All the local eateries have booths, a big band plays and there are a bunch of bounce houses for the kids.
Ian sat in a car that was on dislay and fed the ducks/ geese some pretzels.
so...we had Tiff & Sophia over the other day...oh what fun we had. first: the kids took all the recycling containers & filled them all up with water, then filled up whatever else we had around the house that could be filled with water too & made their way down to the "secret drain" which is located behind our house down the alley a bit....all the while the kids were singing.."what's gonna work?" "TEAMWORK" (for those of you who know the cartoon WONDER PETS). The end result to all of this imagination...FILL THE DRAIN to the top with all this water AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! MISSION COMPLETED...good job kids :)
so, gena and ian have gone to this water park three times in the last six days. it is very affordable and they both love it. see the big yellow slide? Ian goes down it by himself... that a baby!!!

This is 15 minutes from our house. It felt like we were hundreds of miles from civilization. Gods creation is truly amazing.
first we made some Harry Potter glasses, then did some computer stuff and then messed around with the pre- schooler activities.
Yet another 'hectic' day going to the park. This park in our neighborhood is really neat. All the play stuff (as you can see in the pictures) is quite unique. Most of the equipment here spins in some fashion. The kids all love it while us mom's get sick watching them play.
Ian and I rode our new bikes over to the school (less than a block away). Ian impressed me by showing me what stated we moved from and what state we moved to. He was having more fun with the numbers and states than the jungle gym.
So, here are a few snapshots from our new hometown. The first picture is of the downspouts in our neighborhood. The pictures of the river are the Deschutes River which runs through town. The waterfall is Tumalo Falls.
