Thanks Auntie Amy
the boys got a box of loot in the mail today. auntie amy send a bunch of toys, money and gum for Ian. Samuel got some clothes and an awesome blanket.
Thank you Auntie!!!
the caston family went to Terrabonne for a big October 'Festival' they put on there. There was big corn maze, beautiful scenery, beautiful girls(Gena) sitting on buckets/eating carmel apples, pumpkin launching cannons, and yummy food. we had a blast.
the 'big' man
well, we now have to call Ian big man as Samuel has taken the name 'little man'. erik dungan– family friend, business partner and all- around talented dude– took some great pics of Ian today around town here in Bend.
thank you Erik. your work is really getting great (not just good). check out Eriks site/portfolio here (book him if you get a chance): Erik Dungan Photography
Samuel and I worked together today. Well, as you can see he was doing more playing than working...
Ian being Ian
ian and i pulled out the tortilla chips (click picture below) for a snack. ian says, 'wow dad. these chips are made out of crab. can you even believe it? oh, and you know they are good for your brain too?' you have to love him...
Nana Hangin' with the Boys
Well, nana leaves in a couple days (Friday). The boys have enjoyed her being here. Samuel just loves to sleep on her and Ian got to watch Radio Flyer for the first time with Nana.
The boys...
the boys are starting to hang out a bit. doesn't Ian look excited holding him (not).
we are more than blessed. love these guys. thank you Jesus.
Time to Play in the Snow...
So, the weather has been really cold and there were a lot of clouds last night. Ian and I smelled snow so we hopped in the truck and went on a 'mission' to find snow.
Samuel was left behind as this was a trip for the big boys. We found snow about 20 minutes from home. What a blast. Ian loved it.
Caston Family Update
ok, first things first. gena is doing great. healing up well. she is the best (as if you didn't know that).
samuel has jaundice and has had to sleep under a Bili light for the last two nights. he is getting better and should be 'in the clear' this weekend.
we love you guys. thanks for those who were on the DVD from Arroyo Grande. thanks for the notes/love/prayers from all of you.
God bless,
The Caston Clan
